A major turning point in its transformational path was reached as TIL Limited, a mainstay in India’s material handling and infrastructure equipment manufacturing industry, triumphantly returned to Bauma ConExpo India 2024 under the Gainwell Group banner. The company demonstrated its reinvigorated market presence and excellent integration of international relationships with local manufacturing expertise by participating in Asia’s top construction equipment exhibition, which took place at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida from December 11–14, 2024.
The newly introduced Snorkel A62JRT articulating boom lift, the updated Hyster TIL ReachStacker, and the N80A, a specialised article handling machine used extensively by India’s Defence Forces (now available for retail customers) were among the many pieces of equipment that TIL showcased at its spacious 800-square-meter display area (Stall No. OG-55). Over 2,500 people visited TIL’s booth throughout the four-day exhibition, demonstrating the high level of engagement. The presentation follows closely on the heals of TIL’s quarterly report, which proved the company’s successful transition under new leadership with a healthy orderbook of?214 Cr and an exceptional 45.8% EBITDA increase in Q2FY25.
The Snorkel A62JRT articulating boom lift, which marked TIL’s strategic entry into the Indian aerial work platform market, was the focal point of the company’s display. With a working height of 20.8 meters, a zero tail swing design, and the largest platform in its class—which can hold two operators with tools—the machine boasts amazing specs.
With a 20-meter maximum reach and an 8-ton lifting capacity, the N80 Articulating Crane, another highlight of TIL’s display, demonstrated its safe and quick handling capabilities. The crane is perfect for urban building sites because of its cutting-edge Load Moment Indicator (LMI) system, precise controls, and small mounting design. Its sophisticated articulation system allows it to operate in tight areas, and visitors were particularly drawn to its integrated safety measures, which included stability control and overload protection.
The RS46-33 Hyster-TIL With its superior container handling capabilities and 46-ton lifting capacity, ReachStacker showcased TIL’s proficiency in port handling systems. 360-degree visibility is provided by the machine’s recently redesigned ergonomic cabin, which also has an advanced monitoring system that delivers performance data in real time. Port operators and logistics firms searching for environmentally friendly solutions were especially impressed by the ReachStacker’s ground-breaking ECO-mode operation, which may save up to 15% on fuel.
