While attending bauma CONEXPO 2024 in New Delhi, Schwing Stetter India—a prominent Indian producer of concrete construction equipment—announced a sales growth target of 20% for 2025. Exhibiting 45+ high-tech machines, the company presented 25% new goods, including crushers, which fall under the material handling area, as well as improved models in the construction equipment, concreting, and batching plant categories.
Government initiatives for ambitious infrastructure projects and a surge in construction activity post-monsoon season are expected to support the steady expansion of the concrete construction equipment market in 2025, according to the company’s projection. The exhibition this year was ideal for showcasing our newest products and services.
The immense demand for our recently introduced concrete mixers, pumps, plants, earth moving, road, specialised, and mining equipment, along with the substantial orders we have received, solidifies SSI’s status as India’s preeminent supplier of dependable and efficient construction solutions. At the event, VG Sakthikumar, Managing Director & Chairman, made the statement that the company now offers products from all five major categories of the CE industry, thanks to the addition of crushers. This encouraging trend is being propelled by more infrastructure investments around the globe and generally favourable macroeconomic conditions.
He went on to say that India’s infrastructure sector is set to experience phenomenal growth because to the government’s $1.4 trillion investment plan in the National Infrastructure Pipeline and their emphasis on environmentally friendly building methods.
By the end of 2024, Schwing Stetter India hopes to have earned more than Rs 5,600 crore in revenue, and they project a 20% increase in 2025. There were more than 200 sales, service, and marketing staff members present at the expo.
The presence of a certified female technician demonstrating live machines at the expo was also in keeping with the company’s aim to encourage more women to pursue careers in manufacturing and construction. Schwing has always worked to promote gender equality and inclusion in the workplace, and this program expands on those efforts.
