Equipment for silver refining and off-gas treatment is part of the Metso scope of delivery, which includes a KaldoTM furnace. Metso will also supply the precious metals refinery with the fundamental engineering. The Minerals segment’s 4Q24 orders received account for the undisclosed order value.

To recover valuable precious metals from copper anode slime, Metso uses their Outotec® Precious Metals Refinery technology. It is applicable to a broad variety of materials containing precious metals, including lead anode slime, concentrates, residues, and slags, among many others.
