Marketplace Events (MPE) and the Canadian Rental Association (CRA) have announced a strategic partnership for the 2026 trade show season.
The partnership will prioritize educational initiatives, enhanced member visibility, and more robust industry engagement.
MPE and CRA are collaborating to improve the overall show experience for industry professionals, attendees, and exhibitors by aligning their efforts to strengthen the heavy equipment and rental sectors.
Mark Cusack, National Show Manager at Marketplace Events, stated, “This partnership is about more than just organizing exceptional events; it is about fostering connections and enhancing the value of these events for all parties.” “Collaborating with CRA enables us to establish more robust relationships, provide valuable education, and enhance the experience for both exhibitors and attendees.”
The Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show (AHES) in Moncton, New Brunswick, on March 26 and 27 marks the commencement of the collaboration.
AHES is commemorating its 40th anniversary of advancing the heavy equipment industry in Atlantic Canada. The exhibition is the most extensive display of technology, services, and equipment in the region. It attracts over 10,000 individuals with its more than 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits.
The National Heavy Equipment Show (NHES) will be conducted in Mississauga, Ontario on April 23 and 24, 2026, as part of the ongoing partnership.
NHES is the largest heavy equipment trade event in Canada, bringing together industry leaders, machinery, and innovative solutions.
The partnership will be expanded to encompass future events, such as the Alberta Equipment Expo and Expo Grands Travaux in 2027.
“We are enthusiastic about the prospect of bringing our members closer to these significant industry events.” Melanie Misener, Executive Director of CRA, stated, “Our partnership with Marketplace Events guarantees that the CRA community is not only at the shows, but also actively participating in their success and vibrancy.”
